I made the top for an "American Heritage" lap quilt (fortunately, it was not yet quilted), and, when my brother saw it, he fell in love with it, and asked for a king-sized one for his bed. So, I enlarged it into king-sized and made matching shams. It turned out so well and he loves it. It's a free pattern:
