I had a lot of green and brown scraps and even threw in a few cranberry ones for my browns besides purchases fat quarters to add to the stash. I would stick to scraps of the same color family for each of the colors needed. Bonnie Hunter did hers in reds, blues and whites.
And yes I am praying she doesn't pay me Walmart prices. At this point I will be glad to be done with them and move on to more fun! I am sewing the binding by hand while watching movies
