You can also dampen your fabric by placing it in water, wring out, and then roll up in a towel. Then draw on the damp fabric with the pencil and immediately work into the fabric with a small, round tip, short, stiff brush in a scrubbing motion. It really doesn't bleed this way. You can iron it dry between pressing cloths and then work on it again. You might want to add another color or shading on top of a color. If you start with a lighter color, you can work toward darker or bolder color.
