I use the kitchen counter for cutting, but then I have a very understanding DH and no young people who might need to eat at it!
IF I had room for a cutting table, I would like it to be large enough so that there would be at least 2" around my cutting mat... and also have a spot to put hooks on sides to hang rulers that wouldn't stick out & nab me.
