Default Basting Method

I did use pins . I wasn't sure if the basting spray would hurt the minky or not. I used pins every 8 inches or so. I didn't use a walking foot just found 1 oval on the quilt and started there with my feed dogs down and my quilting foot on. As the concentric circle got larger , I used my hem gauge to kind of eyeball the distance away from the previous circle. I think the minky is quite forgiving of any imperfections and that is why I would use it again for a backing. I did practice quilting a few burpies with minky on the back before I did the entire quilt to make sure it looked ok. Hope that helps!!! thanks for all the posts.

What method did you use for quilting with the minke?...spray basting the quilt sandwich? or pins? I would like to try quilting with minke and appreciate any tips you can give me. Thanks Bunches!
