Lovely. I have made several Christening gowns from the wedding gowns. I hope you also made a slip to go with the gown so you can embroider the baby's name , birth date, etc. Then it can be past down and each name be added after each child.
I did make a slip--can't find the pic just now. It's very simple, made from lawn with
a lace cross on the front and lace on the hem. I did not embroider the name, etc. on it. Didn't even think of it, actually. I think that is a great idea & I am going to get it back and do that. Thanks!
