If you listen to a broad range of his music...and he sure had one...he really did have a good voice.
I think he was one sexy, handsome, charismatic charmer, but after a while, he was a lousy husband.
If he had not gone the way of drugs etc. and gotten a handle on his weight, I think he could have gone on to do the types of movies he really wanted to do.
I think he would have definitely evolved with the times and would most certainly still have a following. There are so many entertainers out there, I am not sure he would be as big as he has been since death.
Whatever he was or wasn't, no one will ever really recreate him, he was truly, one of a kind.
