I have used freezer paper in the past and then thread basted; this time I'm glue basting with the Fons and Porters glue stick. The glue basting speeds things up a lot. Katja has a web page for this quilt along with directions for one rosette released each month. You could follow along from there but you would miss out on the interaction with the group on facebook.
Ok.......I too use the glue stick to baste....and have cut hexies from cardstock, old greeting cards, etc using my GO and fiskar punch, and I DO have her book.....PaperPieces.com offers a monthly ( I think) kit of this quilt along.....I also just got a book that offers larger designs(machine sewn) with templates.......tempting.....so is peeking at the FB group.......
