Thanks for all your nice comments on my quilt. My MIL does love it. She just holds it up to her chest like she treasures it. She wouldn't wear a coat to leave the hospital, but wrapped up in her quilt. The fabric is "Sunshine Bouquet", by Wilmington Prints. I bought it at my LQS from their sale shelf for $4 a yard! There is also an awesome border print that goes with it. I bought some of that fabric too, but it would have made the quilt too large for her to handle. I'm thinking about buying more yardage to make a bed quilt for myself. The border print would make a nice mitered border. I think blue and yellow quilts are my favorites.
