Haven't had it too long. But will try turkey and chicken, since we eat a lot of poultry. I bought a lot of turkeys as they were on sale for .50cents per pound at Walmart at Christmas time. I have like 8 whole all white meat turkeys in the freezer. I want to can some in gravy like I used to do. I also slice up the breast meat for lunch meat sandwiches here. I also shred the meat to make enchiladas or use turkey in casseroles and turkey fingers. Whatever you can do with a chicken-you can do with turkey. Yes there are a lot of different models out there and its really up to personal preference. I just wanted this one for its canning option. I may have to get another one for the veggies like steamed spaghetti squash or broccoli or cabbage etc. and use it while im cooking my meats. I want to try scalloped potatoes in it. I seen someone do a ham in it wow.
