hmmmmmmmmm, don't know what makes the difference, but I love mine......I also had one on my long-arm, but it broke off the first time I tried to use it. Now I use those long very thin threaders and can be threaded thru the needles and pulled out the other side.......they are great until I can't find one. You need good eyes to see them so they can disappear...
