I think we have all done that at one time or another, so you're not alone. You have a gorgeous German Shepherd, they are my favorite dog. We've owned 2, one male named Kaiser, who was very smart, then we fell in love with a female Shepherd in a pet shop, named Tara (as in Holy Terror). Tara was a love, who was very protective of the entire family, unfortunately, we could never break her of chasing our two cats, despite obedience school. I still miss them both.
