New Orleans Quilt
So as some of you know I was in NOLA last month, and had a blast ... took lots of pics, and of course stopped off at some fabric stores and spent money!
I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted to quilt with the fabric ... it is so pretty I didn't want to cut it up. So I finally decided on a disappearing 9-patch and made the sure I cut the "small" patterned fabric.
This is the one that drove me nuts last night because I tried to birth it twice while I was tired and messed up both times LOL ... finally got it right on the third time.
Here's some pics ... I'm almost done FMQ it ... just a quick stipple stitch - gotta practice before I move onto something more complicated!
