It is so wonderful to have a machine with a personal history. I have a Damascus treadle that belonged to my Great Aunt May. Unfortunately I never knew her - but it was always in the upstairs bedroom at my great grandmother's house and I loved that room when we went to visit. They are so much fun to sew on.
