I'd been borderline obsessed with keeping my scissors just for fabric. Then one day I was busy sewing away and didn't notice that my dad was stood in the doorway of my sewing room hacking away at some thick plastic with my special scissors! And I couldn't even get too mad at him because he was trying to fix something for me! When I told him they were my special scissors he said "I thought they were pretty good scissors!"
