I miss the AOL Quilt chat. I was a member of that up until I dropped AOL (1998?). Before that, it was Compuserve.
! I'd forgotten the fabulous Compuserve chat groups that aol KILLED off. Shame on aol.

One of my groups that included many quilters met up in London to tour special sites: we were able to see wonderful eclesiastical, quilt, and needleworks normally never brought out to the general public.

Thank goodness we have the Quilt Board!
