You may not be able to find any in Italy. Quilting is not a hobby there. I don't think I have ever seen any quilting groups going to Italy. Good Luck.
They actually have quite a number of guilds or groups, the largest one with is Quilt Italia, it has several chapters thru Italy and they are very active with shows and on the internet, but there are several independent patchwork groups, I know of one in Bassano close to Vicenza who has a fantastic quilt show in and old castle every year, well attended.
