I could never have contained myself like you did. My lqs had so many "pieces" that they sold them by the yard, $2.95 - laid out on the table edge to edge, I bought 200 300 yds easy. I would also buy wides, and daughter is expecting so some minky. I am a fabric snob. I only like good fabrics and do not quilt with Joann's, etc fabric. So, if it's good stuff I indulge. I am knitting/crocheting for new baby so I am a yarn hoarder also and it has to be good stuff. I've been burned so many times when I was young and on a budget and made unwearable things. I won't waste my time again.
