I posted on your other thread too, but this statement is so true. I was just telling my SIL last night, it's amazing the difference in sewing on a $500 machine (which I had-the Janome 2030 DC) and the 8900 which retails for $4K. I got mine for half that; maybe you can negotiate with your dealer for the red one. My understanding from the dealer that I got mine from is that they bought a bunch of the red limited edition, and there discounting them to move them out and onto the next thing. They are EXACTLY the same machine.
