I used one for many years for small quilts. It takes practice but once you get the hang of it, it will be fun and easy. I think too many gave up after the first few tries and said it was a waste of money. I had mine set up in the middle of two folding banquet tables end to end. I liked a lot of room but it isn't necessary.
