I was gifted one at Christmas from a friend that had a double masectomy and had bought in hopes that she would be able to at least cut out some fabric for quilts. It sat in her closet unopened along with 12 die cutters. After her masectomy, she had no desire at all to quilt but recently have started quilting again.
I am so thankful that she thought of me when she decided to give it away. I bought a clam shell die and an owl die.
Ive used all of the dies that she sent with the go cutter...I don't think that if I had the money to buy one for myself, I don't think I would. And again it could be as I have no where to actually use it. I use a TV tray table to sew on in my room but maybe if I did have somewhere dedicated that I can sew and set it up, I might use it more often.
They are really nice. I think I would use it more if I had a die to cut strips because so many quilts you use strips. They are too expensive for me to buy as I have very little income. But I do love it alot.
