I've been doing some free motion on two tops a "friend of a friend" wanted done..... Nobody knows how long she's had them, a full size log cabin and a queen size double nine patch. The log cabin was hand pieced! And I'm worried sick the red/white double nine patch will bleed when I'm ready to wash it. I stressed to my friend that my "self taught, LEARNING" free motion skills are NOT pro. But they didn't seem to mind. The lady's sister even quilts. I actually got a snow shot of the log cabin! Was super happy with it. I used a fan ruler and stenciled each row! The Double9Patch I used my walking foot on the patched parts and made a stencil of a square feather to fit the negative areas.
Today I need to decide on the border..... Ok. I'm rambling. I must need more sleep.
