I am sorry to hear of your computer woes. Mine is on it's last leg, too. I say I am so "anti-techno," but I do rely heavily on my computer. We're very isolated; it's a life line during the winters, and a wealth of new knowledge and entertainment.
It seems our new/old house, aka "The Little House of Horrors on the Prairie" eats up all my "fun funds." Roofs, for main house and garage, new furnace, A/C, ductwork, heat exchange system, an unending 3-week living room refurbishment that is now in its 10th month...and life goes on...I just hope the computer limps on until next winter.
