I've been terrified of pressure cookers since I was a child. Also wary of gas ovens since the days I had to 'light the pilot' with a match and blew off my eyebrows, hahaha!

My Mom used a pressuer cooker for yrs with no problem. MIL made noodles in hers & lid blew off.....noodles everywhere,but she wasn't hurt.Ten yrs later FIL remodled the kitchen & found old noodles between back of cuphoards & wall. Some pressure!
