Good find, I have a couple similar to it.
For the machine, just use sewing machine oil and either cotton balls or the cotton pads women use to remove make up.

For the cabinet where the veneer is lifting, I use old plastic credit cards or those the leaches send in the mail to carefully work glue between the layers, then I clamp it down to dry. If your careful there will be minimal or no glue on the outside.
Then just clean it with something like Murphy's oil soap or similar and wax good with Bri-Wax. There are several tutorials here about repairing the finish on these old wood cabinets too. Most done by Glenn.
