I am working on a new to me "hopper" that I picked up a couple months back. The machine and case are in beautiful condition. Hopefully I can get it up and running well.

It had a very ugly messy looking capacitor that was oozy looking and I have removed it. The motor wire looked incredibly thin to me--only two strands? I carefully clipped back the insulation and it appears to really only be the two tiny strands.

Has anyone worked on one of these and seen this?

I am posting a beauty pic and also one showing the motor wire in question-it's the one attached at the center post of the terminal.
