Default Quilted Curtains made from fabric samples

Here's my latest creation made from the fabric samples that someone gifted me. As I expected, they are quite eclectic and original.

All the florals are from the sample books, the solid colors outlining the florals are also from the samples. Those pieces are damasks, 100% cotton. I could only get 3 - 2" strips out of each sample piece, so I put different shades of the same color together.

Here are some pics of the curtains individually and together. They really are the same size, one of my "hands and feet" was standing closer than the other. They are pretty heavy though, I think the recipient may have to shore up her curtain rods.

I showed the tops to the recipient last week, before I quilted them. They are 70" long so I laid them on the floor to display them. She liked them so much that she jumped right over them to give me a hug. What a great feeling!
