m-fay your so great heck with asking me! the sky is simply done with strips. cut 1.5 inches and 2.5 inches. and different lengths. chose squares for my second row thinking its variety now not so sure lol. its a learning experience. I have both rows done so need to press and can post a picture! its artsy lol so its ok. I love the mountains shown here omg wish I could paper piece. I was lent the carol doaks video and sigh I didn't get it. I need a hands on class to learn that skill. wish I had different sky fabric say three prints? that would blend so much better but will take this one for now. lessons learned going to follow the book strip quilting that I posted information about. lovely landscape quilts and its so cool I have to try it. my to do list is never ending that is for sure. posting picture this afternoon after my nap.
