Thank you for this information. My youngest son learned he was color blind when he applied to drive the campus bus as a part-time job when he attended NC State. I've since wondered how he knew which colors to use in elementary school! As another poster wrote, women carry the genes and pass them on to their male offspring. My grandfather was color blind and apparently passed the gene to my mom and then through me to my grandfather's great-grandson. Interesting!
