My husband is a Shriner, and I am a member of the Daughters of the Nile, whose mission it is to support the Shrine Hospitals for Children. As a sewer, I have just joined a group who will sew twin sized quilts, hospital gowns for the kids, neck pillows, cast pillows, pillowcases, etc. I have a lot of sports fabric left from the quilt I made for my grandson, so I see how I will repurpose that. I am very excited that I will be doing good for kids and doing good for me too. Let the fun begin!!!
thank you - I also do charity quilts for various organizations., and it dose make you feel good to give to someone in need. Needless to say I have made a lot of scappy quilts
