I know a lot of you love to do applique, and when I saw this video on You tube, I thought of you all. It's the Needle turn Applique without the Needleturn - Applique Brush. I've never seen it before, and I might just try applique if I can find this in the U.S. I like the idea of using a starch mixture instead of anything else, and I know you can just use a paintbrush, but this looks like it is a lot less messy. If any of you have tried using one of these, I'm interested in your opinion of it.

I saw something similar, same idea, different tools, on an old Sue Hausmann show. The guest artist used a simple kitchen turntable with a padded top like a revolving ironing board. The starch was in a small disposable bowl or cup, and brushed on with what looked like an eyebrow makeup brush. Vaguely, I recall a two-pronged hand tool being used to turn or hold the edges. I can see the advantage of using one of these kits. All in one place and labeled.
