omgosh! i lived in niagara falls, ny when i was in 6th&7th grades (i'm 64) and as i was reading your post i saw fonthill! that's where i took riding lessons! i was a real horse freak! thanks for bringing to light some of my long put away memories. i am sure i will be smiling all day as more little memories of that time come back to me. have a wonderful trip! we used to eat fresh cherries all the way from fonthill to the border and never had to claim them because they would be totally eaten! 5# of cherries, 3 people, go ahead, you do the math, lol. took maybe 45 minutes for the trip,and less time for the cherries to disappear. have a happy trip, and then all y'all, have a happy day! oh, yes, later in life i spent 25yrs in texas. from western ny to western usa, but not directly.
