Just an update... I made a couple rosettes over the weekend. The first was a freebie 1/2 hexie kit that produced one rosette. I played with whip and ladder stitching, and definitely prefer the ladder stitch. I learned some good lessons, including: don't over do the glue, and, I'm more likely to make cutting mistakes with a rotary cutter than scissors. Here are a couple pictures of my first ever rosette.

I also basted 42 hexies using a mini charm pack on hexies with a 1" side. I am not looking forward to removing the papers though (hence that lesson about over doing the glue). I stitched one scrappy rosette together with those last night, and am getting better at the ladder stitch. It is starting to move a little faster now that I am getting the hang of it.

Thanks again!
