Thanks for the info. I belong to a few of the yahoo groups but have been absent from them, for awhile, so it looks like I will have to try joining some of the groups again.
I don't have a manual, yet, but was wondering what the silver knobby-thing (near the zz mechanism) might be. It looks like the stitch length regulator on the very old model 66 that I have. Does it regulate the width of the zig zag?
I've never seen this kind of zz before and find it quite amazing!
