Surgical super glue is not the same as the stuff we buy to fix a broken vase. I cannot remember which poison is in super glue, my dentist told me once that a patient had fixed his bridge with super glue and made himself very sick.
I work with paper all day and fabric at home. I use a variety of moisturizers over the course of a day to keep my hands in good shape. And I am lucky, I do not live in a cold or hot dry climate, which makes it every worse.
Back in the day I worked in food service,( back when we washed our hands instead of wearing gloves), I developed eczema from handling cheese and smokes salmon. It got to the point I could not touch either product any more.
