Today, I showed him how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin and make a 9 patch. He did a wonderful job and is anxious to start the quilt he wants to make from old Levis. He's a carpenter by trade so I'm leaving the math up to him. He's already thinking about designing. LMBO, my son lost a target shooting and model airplane flying buddy to my quilting hobby.
