Thanks for all the help! Velour sounds exactly like what the beige is. The green piece sat in straight bleach overnight and did not dissolve, so I guess it's not wool. I belong to a charity quilting group so I'll bring it to them when we meet next. This month is one where we don't meet much so I thought I'd ask you nice folks instead!
