I started washing the fabrics for this quilt on April 1 and finished it on April 11. Hows that for a quick and easy strip pieced quilt for a friend! Tons of starch, marking and pinning every seam made it come together beautifully. As you all know this quilt can make even the most experienced quilter cry. No billowing center...Yeah! Oh but I've made them in the past that looked more like the start of a tent.
