I use Frixion pens all the time. According to Sharon Schamber, who apparently also uses these pens, the "bleached" lines that appear on some fabrics is the gel in the ink and washes out completely. I haven't had any problem with them and I won't give them up! 
we were discussing this at quilting bee yesterday... a couple of the gals are dead set against using them on dark fabrics. i haven't had any problems at all... i advised them to wash the quilt and there are no more 'bleached' lines
