Barb, Nope a girl. I thought the flowers in the blue/green border were feminine as well as all the appliquéd flowers. Hope i'm not wrong in my thinking. It happens often.
I backed it in a soft yellow print. I do have enough of the border fabric left so I will probably go ahead and use that rather than a contrasting color. I guess it is busy enough as is.
