Here is a picture of the Olfa mat I bought that started peeling. After contacting Olfa I was told the mats are not guaranteed and no replacement. It's new, started peeling a few weeks after I bought it, so the new ones may not be made the same way as the older ones. I would think if if was a bad batch Olfa would have at least owned up to it. The customer rep was very defensive and said I was cutting wrong and that was why the mat was peeling. ? No more Olfa mats for me until they go back to being quality.
