i don't think there's a limit on the number of comments we can post.
it sounds like you are unintentionally logged out, which will generate an error message if you try to post.
the rest of it - i think - has to do with your browser and the way you are using it.
i am not clear on what "top name" and "delete cross" are, so i have to take a shot in the dark.
i don't know which browser you use or what sort of device.
if you are using a real computer, and (in this example) the FireFox browser:
if you go from email, to Resources, to a specific thread (for example, to look at a quilt somebody has posted), you'll land on the first page of that thread.
if you click on your browser's back arrow/button, you should go back to the Resources page.
if the thread has more than one page, and you read one or more of the additional pages, your browser's back arrow/button will step you back through the pages you've looked at - one at a time - until you are once again on the Resources page.
if you post a comment to the thread, you'll find yourself at the end of that thread, and will see your posted comment.
where your back arrow/button takes you from there is going to depend on whether or not you were already at the end of the thread when you added your comment.
if you jumped in to comment somewhere other than the end of the thread, the back arrow/button should take you back to where you were when you decided to comment. you can read through the rest of the thread, or click back until you are once again at Resources.
if you want to go straight back to Resources, scroll to the top of the page, and click on "Resources" in the top menu bar.
if you want to go straight to the top of the section the thread is in (Pictures, for example) then scroll up, look for the option line that starts with the word "Forum" and then click on that section/forum's title.
clear as mud?
