Dina, I use the batting tape all the time. Before that I just used a wide zigzag stitch to put my pieces together. I have a package of the Stitch Witchery and it looks pretty much the same but if you're going to quilt over this I'd be concerned how well the needle goes thru it and if the glue used on the Stitch Witchery will gum up your needle. The glue used on the batting tape hasn't bothered my needle but also don't have to sit the iron on it as long as you do on the Stitch Witchery. Also have a package of Bond N Heat that looks similar but don't think I'd want to test it out on one of my quilt projects. The Iron on interfacing, again the glue used might be different and may interfere with your needle.
