Isn't that frustrating.... we had guests most of yesterday and last night, friends of hubby's more than mine, and I'm being polite and having conversation and all I could think was "hurry up and leave so I can put my pj's on and sew before bed!"
i'm so bad this way too.
i routinely sneak away to be in my sewing room for a few minutes when we have company.
You ladies are much more polite then I am. I simply pull out hand work and either applique or quilt right in front of them. ;)
