You pronounce the Gee just like Gee Whiz.
I wish I had known about it. I don't live too far from there...if it was held in Gee's Bend. I have seen their quilts and met the daughter..I believe she was...at an event in Montgomery. If another is held, I would love to go if I know about it. I bought a couple of the kits a few years ago but have not gotten them made yet. How Fun for you!
