Theme, All Shapes and Sizes. This could mean a different shaped postcard, or showcasing different shapes or sizes in either piecing or applique. It could be quilting that enhances your art work. Have fun showing us what this means to you.
Don't let the theme throw you off. I don't usually show my postcard until my partner receives. But, I'm willing to share how simple it is doing just one example of different shapes and sizes. (There are still many different ways to achieve this theme.) I decided to try out the ticker tape piecing. I've been wanting to try this for probably about a year. And I can definitely tell you, I am really glad I tried it out on a postcard. For, I think I would have gone out of my mind doing anything bigger. It is simple. And, as you can see, I had to try out just a little thread painting. To jazz up and add a bit more interest.
I can't wait to see what yall will come up with. I sure hope my partner this month likes what I came up with.
