Default Quilt made from Asian Panel

Kay brought this Asian quilt top to me for quilting, and once again, I needed it to lay and stair at me for a couple of days. Even when I started loading it I had no idea what I was going to quilt on it. It just kind of came to life once on the machine. I love the panel Kay chose and the colors of the lanterns. I always look forward to getting a quilt top from Kay and her daughter as I can depend on it being perfect - beautiful piecing and colors. I used mostly a gold color thread and as you can see it really shines on the back. SID, outlining, meandering, cross hatch. Hobbs 80/20 batting. I applied the binding to the front of the quilt before it came off the frame. Enjoy!
