I think the next ones I make I will make the pattern at least 1 inch larger all around. Poor little puppy.Many years ago maybe 30 or so a Hawk swooped down and grabbed one of my hens and I picked up a piece of brick ( Maybe as big as my fist) I threw it at the hawk and hit the sucker and it dropped my hen.They were only about 15 feet off the ground. If you ever seen me pitch you would really be surprised I hit it. The hen died 2 days later I believe it was from the fall. Usually a chicken will see the shadow of a hawk or eagle and run for cover. Take care of your babies and give them both a big hug.
