I was wondering of someone on here would know what that machine was - so I waited to post a picture.


This is a Royal St. James. Another interesting item about this machine - it sews forward regardless of the direction the flywheel is turning.



Other neat features - the presser foot lever is on the front of the machine, and the flywheel is flat, not rounded. That's a Singer handcrank sitting next to it -does not go with this machine.

Also - what is referred to as "New Royal, old style" is a newer machine that is significantly different from this one.
