I haven't used that brand, but I have used this:

I used it with a very pale violet thread and it worked well. No residue whatsoever and it made FMQ a custom design much easier for me. They suggest on the package to test it with your specific printer ink to make sure that the ink doesn't stain (which I did). I was very happy with it and would definitely use it again. Also, just a tip, I reduced the intensity of the color in my design so it printed very light, I did this to avoid staining chances, and to save ink.
